American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Stockton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Stockton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had gone there with a friend a while back it all seem great until we noticed odd looks from the people working there. Didnβt think nothing of it we just genuinely wanted to try the food. I noticed other customers after us ordering and getting their food before us. 30 minutes passed we asked if the food was ready they said no so we decided to leave. As soon as they seen us leaving in the car they were telling us it was ready, that was a bit too late. Overall I donβt think they wanted to serve us, since we arrived I noticed we were not wanted there. Good thing we never ate any of the food the oil they fried the chicken in was so dark it didnβt look like oil anymore, the lack of hygiene there is crazy. Not recommended.

We were looking for pupusas to eat near us, we found a Guatemalan bakery near us that use to be a Mexican bakery, when I was growing up. We tried four different types of pususas, our favorite was the chicharron, beans, and cheese ( mixta) the pususas were big, so ask for extra salsa. For all four we spent $12.00 dollars.
